que día tras día sobrelleva nuestras cargas
Salmo 68:19
El tiempo de la cuaresma es un tiempo de reflexión acerca del significado de la acción de Dios en nuestra vida y en la vida de nuestras comunidades. Por esto, es importante leer el Salmo 68:19 a la luz del acompañamiento que a través de la historia Dios ha hecho hacia su pueblo, y especialmente hacia todas aquellas personas en situaciones de pobreza, exclusión y marginación.
En este sentido, el salmista levanta su voz para reconocer quien es Dios, y en ese reconocimiento Dios es para el Salmista su salvador, Dios es identificado en el Salmo como aquel Dios con capacidad para llevar sobre sus hombros las dificultades, los problemas de su pueblo. En esta expresión también evidenciamos como el Salmista reafirma que Dios es bendito; y Dios es bendito por lo que Dios mismo hace, por el cuidado que como pastor da a su pueblo. Un Dios que es bendito y nos salva porque camina y se identifica con su pueblo al punto que carga su sufrimiento.
Por lo tanto, hoy la iglesia y las comunidades al igual que el salmista necesitan seguir levantando su voz profética quizás con más fuerza para reafirmar en este tiempo de cuaresma ¿quién es Dios para nosotros hoy?. Y ¿cómo estamos evidenciando en nuestra vida esa salvación que viene de Dios?. Esta reafirmación nos va ayudar a entender a un Dios que se comparte con todos los que sufren y que ofrece su salvación a todas las personas. Quizás en este tiempo de cuaresma también las palabras del salmista nos pueden ayudar a entender como la iglesia puede seguir expresando solidaridad y acompañamiento a todas las personas marginadas, que sufren persecución, que no tienen pan en sus mesas.
Finalmente, esperamos que las palabras del Salmo 68:19 en el tiempo de cuaresma reafirme nuestra fe en Dios y nos ayude a fortalecer nuestro compromiso con Dios y con su pueblo.

Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior,

The time of Lent is a time of reflection about the meaning of the action of God in our lives and the lives of our communities. Therefore, it is important to read Psalm 68:19 in the light of the accompanying through history that God has done for their peoples and especially to all people in poverty, exclusion and marginalization.
In this sense, the psalmist lifts his voice to recognize who God is, and in recognition that God is his savior. For the Psalmist God is identified in Psalm as one God with the capacity to carry on his shoulders the difficulties, the problems of people. This verse also shows how the Psalmist affirms that God is holy. God is holy for whatGod does. God is holy, because the care that like the pastor gives to his people. In the Psalm God is holy and saves us because he walks and identifies with his people to the point of carrying their suffering.
Therefore, today the church and communities like the psalmist need to continue raising their prophetic voice perhaps stronger to reaffirm at this time of Lent, and ask who is God for us today. And ¿how arewe showing in our lives that ourselves salvation comes from God?.This affirmation will help us to understand a God who has shared with all who suffer and who offers salvation to all people. Perhaps, in this time of Lent the words of the Psalmist can help us understand how the church can continue to express solidarity and accompaniment to all who are marginalized, who suffer persecution, to who all do not have bread over theirtables.
Finally, we hope that the words of Psalm 68:19 in Lent reaffirm our faith in God and help us strengthen our commitment to God and his people.
